For fifteen years Deann has provided services focused on strategic management systems.  She helps industry, and public sector organizations develop, implement, and maintain management systems based on the quality ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2008, environmental ANSI/ISO 14001-2004, security of supply chains ISO 28000 and related industrial standards such as M1003, TS16949, OHSAS 18001, AS 9100, ISO 13485, ISO 2200, ISO 17025, and ANSI MSE 2000 etc.  Ms. Desai is experienced in implementation strategies, innovation management, tools and materials development for implementation and maintenance of management systems and integration with existing systems.  In addition, Deann has worked with organizations in the development of design systems developing applications of the Stage-Gate TM system and other related creativity idea generation based development programs such as Eureka®, measuring and monitoring and statistical methods development as well as general process development and evaluation.  Deann also conducts assessments of these systems and is a RABQSA-Certified Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor and RABQSA-Certified Environmental Management Systems Lead Auditor.  The sectors she has audited for environmental and quality include Personnel Services, Banking, Electronics, Textiles, Construction, Mining, Chemical, Metal, Paper, Defense, Aerospace, Printing, Foods, Pharmaceuticals, Automotive and Aerospace suppliers, Consumer Commodities, and Corrections, Ports, Shipping and logistics, Airports, Hospitals and Local Government entities.  She has experience in environmental compliance, policies and regulatory affairs; quality systems; statistical process control; experimental design; and analytical and scientific techniques.  Ms. Desai has successfully assisted over 325 organizations through the implementation process for management systems.  Ms Desai has an educational background of an ACS undergraduate Chemistry Degree as well as a Master of Science in Polymers, and a Masters of Science in Statistics.  Ms Desai currently serves as the administrator and secretary and as an expert for the U.S. Technical Advisory Group for Project Committee 242 on energy management working on the ISO standard ISO 50001 Energy management.  For PC 242 on energy management Ms Desai serves as an expert to the JTCG on management systems TF1 (Structure) and TF 2 (ISO 19011- auditing).  Ms. Desai also serves as a U.S. TAG member for U.S. TAG to TC 176 and U.S. TAG to TC 207.
