Georgia Tech’s Industry Services division has shaped the development and application of energy management system standards such as ANSI MSE 2000:2008, which is the U.S. contribution to the international energy standard expected in 2011, ISO 50001. With direction from the US DOE and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, GA Tech will instruct multiple demonstration projects in 2010-2011 to establish best practices in industrial energy management to design a practical and reliable program to achieve energy efficiency and cost savings.
