Holly Grell-Lawe

Ms. Lawe is a technical specialist in the development, implementation and assessment of management system standards. As a Project Manager with the Enterprise Innovation Institute, Ms. Lawe develops and provides technical assistance, system assessments and training programs to help organizations integrate environmental management and sustainability-based decision-making into their business processes.  She has worked one-on-one with over 40 organizations to implement environmental, quality and integrated management systems and achieve third-party certification to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and has helped both industrial firms and military installations integrate their sustainability and environmental management programs.  Over the past 15 years she has provided standards technical assistance and to training to over 600 private and public sector firms.

Ms. Lawe is an RABQSA-certified Lead Auditor for both environmental and quality management systems.  She has conducted more than 80 management system assessments for industrial and commercial firms and military installations in Georgia and the Southeastern U.S.

Ms. Lawe currently serves as the Standards Coordinator for the Georgia Tech Energy & Environmental Management Center (GTEEMC), an ANSI-accredited Standards Developer, and is a member of the standards development and revision team for the American National Standard ANSI/MSE 2000 Management System for Energy.  She is presently also a member of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to ISO Project Committee 242 on Energy Management.

Also as part of her current duties, Ms. Lawe develops both public training courses and customized training and coaching programs and tool kits in the areas of management system standards and CE marking for the European Union market.  She is a Lead Developer and a Lead Instructor for more than a dozen training courses and workshops offered by Georgia Tech, including the 5-day RABQSA-TPECS accredited ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Training course.  Over the past 15 years, Ms. Lawe has developed more than 100 implementation and assessment tools to help organizations implement and maintain their environmental, quality and sustainability management systems.

A subject specialist in standards information research and CE marking, Ms. Lawe served as Adjunct Staff to the U.S. Export Assistance Center from 1995-2007 where she provided technical assistance and standards research services to more than 500 U.S. exporters seeking to identify  standards, technical regulations and product certification requirements in overseas markets.
